About The Atlanta Christian Gaming and Anime Meetup

The ACGAG exists to connect Christian gamers and fans in the city of Atlanta and larger Georgia to one another, as well as provide a medium for ministry to the communities of these hobbies.

After trying to connect in various ways, we decided that the creation of a local guild would both provide ministry as well as a sense of connection to local gamers, anime fans, cosplayers, and con-goers. Our focus is more on live events, although an online presence is somewhat necessary. There is already a small group of us that have been meeting at local cons and various times in the past year, but we wanted to connect with more friends and perhaps develop deeper connections with those close to us. We come from various denominations and spiritual backgrounds. We also like to support local gaming, anime, and fandom events like MomoCon, Anime Weekend Atlanta, and Dragon*Con.

Statement of Faith
1. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe in the dual deity and humanity of Jesus Christ as both Lord and God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, imminent return in glory.

3. We believe that salvation is by faith through the redeeming power of Christ's blood.

4. We believe that salvation requires regeneration through the power of the Holy Spirit.

5. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, enabling them to live a holy life.

6. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
